We are a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry focused on the needs of the entire family that is dedicated to providing a welcoming, safe, and healthy environment to encourage spiritual life and personal growth. We are committed to providing an outlet of ministry that allows each individual to identify, develop and use the gift God has invested in them. We are passionate about ministering to the unique challenges faced by each generation in a manner that is both biblical and relatable to everyday life.

The mission of Bethany Church is to fulfill the Great Commission in reaching the lost and discipling those that have been reached.

OUR VALUES

LOVE - Above all, we love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. From this love for God flows our love for others, as we seek to love our neighbors as ourselves. We want the world to recognize us as disciples of Jesus by the way we sacrificially and genuinely love one another, just as Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).

PRAY - We believe God works through the prayers of His people; therefore, everything we do should be founded upon and sustained by prayer. Prayer is the expression of our deep dependence upon The Lord and our acknowledgment that we cannot accomplish His purposes in our own strength. We desire to be a house of prayer—a people who continually seek the Lord, listen for His direction, and trust Him to move in ways only He can.

EQUIP - We believe every follower of Jesus has been uniquely gifted and called to participate in the work of His Kingdom. The church is not merely a place where ministry happens; it is a people who are equipped and sent to do the work of ministry. Therefore, we seek to identify, develop, encourage, and equip the gifts God has placed within His people so that they can faithfully serve Christ and impact the world around them.

SERVE - Jesus demonstrated that true greatness is found in serving others, and we desire to follow His example. Because we have experienced the transforming work of Christ in our own lives, we want that transformation to be evident in the way we live. We choose an others-focused life, looking beyond ourselves to meet needs, serve our church, and love and reach the communities around us with the hope of Jesus.

RELEASE - We believe God's calling on a person's life is bigger than any one church or ministry. As a church, we are committed to helping people discover and pursue the calling God has placed on their lives. Whether that calling leads them to serve at Bethany or somewhere else, we will celebrate their obedience and prayerfully release them to go wherever God leads them.
